Judith BOHM-PARR From Judy’s idyllic childhood in the hills of the Clare Valley Wine District in South Australia to the wet tropics of Far North Queensland, is a life’s journey and experiences, which are now encompassed in her works of vibrant colourful glass. A Bachelor of Arts Visual was the culmination of 4 years study at the Canberra Institute of Arts, allowing Judy the technical and aesthetic tools to follow her dream. | and worked in most avenues of glass forming,
including leadlighting, hot glass, pate de verre, fusing, slumping and
casting. This broad spread of knowledge enabled Judy to undertake architectural
commissions, community art projects and exciting interior designer pieces.
The lure of life in the tropics, led Judy to establish her glass studio in Cairns in 1992. From this studio Judy has continued to spread her message in glass to an appreciative and faithful audience from the USA, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Hong Kong and Australia. hide now...
